We’re teaching them to transform the lives of the people around them by following Jesus with passion and excellence. We’re challenging them to place their academic and professional training at the service of God’s Kingdom.
BSAP faculty ministry has impacted me through the members' academic diversity and excellence. Their commitment to the Gospel and their ability to integrate their respective disciplines into the Gospel are evident. I cherish most that they have not forgotten the "Black" in BSAP. They encourage a healthy appreciation for being a Black faculty in higher education while maintaining a consciousness of the reality of Black struggles. BSAP continues to e a place of encouragement, comfort, intellectual stimulation, and renewal.

I was blessed to be able to meet other women facing similar struggles and challenges in life and work. Although new, the BSAP group already feels like a family!
My connection with BSAP spans a few decades. As a faculty member, it is quite refreshing to see InterVarsity's involvement not just with student ministry at the various college campuses, but also with Black Scholars and Professionals—including Black academicians! I attend BSAP events via media platforms and look forward to connecting even more with this great community of faith.
